The Lord’s Supper is one of the ordinances of Church commanded by God meant for Christians. The bread represents the body of Christ that was broken for you, and the wine (don’t worry, we use grape juice) is meant for the blood that was shed. This is a time of self- reflection and is to be done after the time of repentance. Whenever communion is taken, it is to be in the remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice (1 Corinthians 11 :24-29). We offer the saved to take part, you do not have to be a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
what is BAPTISM & what does it mean to be baptized?
Baptism is the second ordinance of the Church that is meant for those after salvation and is done only once. We practice full-emersion, water baptism done in the name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. This represents the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. Baptism is an outward expression for and inward experience.
What do you provide for childcare?
We provide childcare for all ages in each of our services during the week, and even during several extracurricular activities.
Check the Ministries TAB for more information!
how does one become a member?
After much prayer, a visitor is invited by the Pastor when he “opens the doors” of the church and a vote is taken to accept one into the family of TBC. This usually takes place immediately following an AM Service.
do you have any options for the hearing impaired?
Do you have hearing trouble? We offer wireless headset access to those who may not hear the service in full capacity. Find an usher or greeter to get a headset.
Do you have handicap ACCESSIBILITY?
We do have handicap accessibility. Handicap accessible entrances are at the back of the church or at the left side of the church (nursery entrance). Also, handicap parking spaces are available all around every side of the church and school area.
what is salvation?
Salvation is given to anyone that is drawn by the Holy Spirit through conviction and confesses their sins and asks for forgiveness. One then invites the Holy Spirit to come into their heart and save them. Once salvation occurs, NOTHING can undo what God has done. (Romans 10:13, John 10:29)
what type of people make up your CONGREGATION?
A wide variety of people of all backgrounds, ages, & stages of life make up out congregation.
what is your style of worship?
We are proud to say that we have a truly blended style of worship here at TBC. We reverence our timeless hymns, along with many Praise-and- Worship anthems. Styles and preferences are not our concern, but instead we focus our worship being authentic and sincere. We praise God for who he is and we worship for what He has done and will do in the future. Our worship services incorporate the use of both a Praise Team (live music) and also a Sanctuary Choir.
who is Jesus Christ?
Jesus Christ is the Son of God that came and dwelt on the Earth and lived a sinless life. He voluntarily hung on the cross and died for the sins of everyone in hopes that all would accept Salvation. Jesus rose from the dead three days later and is now seated at the right Hand of God the Father in Heaven, and one day Christ will return to call the children of God home. (John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 5:21, John 14:2)
what is the holy trinity
We believe in One God who exists in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.
what version of the bible do you use?
We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired of God, and as the inerrant Word of God. The Word of God is the supreme and final authority in faith and life. The Word does NOT CHANGE and never contradicts itself. Trinity believes in the King James Version of the Bible.
